Based on the popular movie, Campers will learn about the adventures and heroics of Moana and the other colorful characters and learn the importance of following your dreams and being true to yourself. The class will split its time between theatre activities and dance. Families are invited on the final day for a short, informal performance. Students are welcome to wear costumes to class as long as they can still move during the dance portion of the class.

FAIRIES & DRAGONS CAMP

So many wonderful and enchanting stories of Fairies and Dragons. Campers will step back in time and use their imaginations to embrace the mystery and fancy of fairys and dragons. Students will sing and learn choreography to well- known songs from popular Disney movies. There will be an informal performance on the final day of class.

SINGING FOR THE ACTOR KIDS
AGES: 6-10

An introduction to basic vocal skills, vocal exercises, techniques, breathing, discovering one’s range and making the correct song selections. Students will be able to progress at their own speed based on experience and progress. There will be an informal performance on the final day of class.

THE LION KING KIDS (A Musical)
AGES: 6-10

Based on the popular Disney movie, this musical follows the story of Young Simba who is destined to become King of the Pride Lands but must first overcome his evil, Uncle Scar. Simba faces his fears and finally takes his rightful place as King. This show includes many of the movie’s popular tunes. This production will be performed at WCT&DC on Saturday, June 21, Time TBA.

Whether your student is preparing for an upcoming audition, looking for audition practice, or working on nerves of performing in front of a panel, this class will prepare your student for the process of auditioning! Students will look at the entire process from etiquette, material selection, practice, writing a theatre resume, and more. Class will conclude with the invaluable opportunity to practice their audition in front of a panel of community directors!

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS JR. (A Musical)

This musical is about SpongeBob and his friends who are trying to save Bikini Bottom from a volcano that threatens to destroy it. This show features songs from well-known artists, and is known for its humor, music and escapism. This production will be performed at WCT&DC on Friday evening, June 20th. Time TBA.

It’s a “big bright beautiful world” as everyone’s favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. There will be no class on July 4th. This production will be performed at WCT&DC on Friday evening, July 18th. Time TBA.

INSTRUCTOR: Lyle Valentine
This class will provide students with hands-on experience in Theatre Tech for the morning One Act Class. Students will work together to build scenic elements, learn about theatre lights, microphones, and more and will demonstrate their work during the performance of the One Act on Friday morning.
SESSION: July 28-Aug. 1 Mon.-Thurs. .1:00-3:00 (& Friday 10:00-Noon)

- Classes fill up quickly. If you do not see your class as an option in the enrollment portal, your child may not fit the age requirement, or it is already full. Please call the office at (316) 262-2282.
- Payment at the time of enrollment is encouraged to secure your spot.

- Payment cannot be completed in the enrollment portal. Please use the pay for classes button above.
- If you do not see your class in the payment portal, it is because it is full. If you were already enrolled, you have a spot in the class; you need to call to pay instead.
- Paying without enrolling will not ensure a spot in the class.
